Occupied

I just realized that June is coming in less than two weeks. Now, my question is, where did the month of May go? Ah, I spent the first few weeks, literally, on the phone calling the embassy almost everyday about the status of my passport renewal. On its 11th week since the application, I finally received it. (Still thinking whether o blog about it or not).

What I really want to say is that I was very busy this month, because of it, all colors are turning into black and white. If you know what I mean. Though May started with a one-week holiday, Golden Week, it wasn't enough to recover from the stresses of the previous month. During this holiday, I met with my photographer-friends and spent the days talking and eating. Though we brought our cameras, catching up with one another is much more important that clicking the gadgets.

I also had a photoshoot with another set of friends. It was a fun shoot, and I am really sorry that I haven't gone through all the photos yet. But I plan to write a separate blog about the shoot. Here's a sample of that shoot

Golden Week was also an opportunity to finally clean my apartment. Yes, I needed a week to clean it.

Other than the above, it was all work for the rest of the month. I received my passport last May 9 and was informed to go to China last May 11 for the May 14 meeting. Since it's only a one-day meeting, it means my travel time was longer that the meeting itself. And this one shouts, blog entry please. Too.

Tomorrow is a holiday too but I have to wake up early to witness the solar eclipse. Or not.

I am just thankful I have another 24 hours to relax. To catch my breath. Or to read this blog again whether I am making sense or not.

  1. Like your subtle use of the word "canvass", playing off against the range of hues "canvas" of a painting. Brilliant!

  6. The first line is loaded with innuendo - many journeys, lives and baggaged attitudes generate their own colours! Fascinating poem! And life can be a muddle of mayhem at times! Intent may not guarantee a course in life, but its fun travelling the unexpected byways! Enjoy!

  9. Gorgeous sample photos. Your month sounded quite fulfilling and I hope you get the rest that you need. We've just reached beyond the season when the world is hue less and now it is time for the color to play. I hope you enjoy the birthing season. Enjoy your journey!

  10. I only read a few lines sa preview page, natawa ako.. parang nabasa ko na'to I thought, kasi parang ganun rin sinabi mo last year "I just realized that June is coming in less than two weeks. Now, my question is, where did the month of May go?" LOL I double checked the date, the year did say 2012, hehe.. irony last year busy ka ata magtravel, this year the absence of your PP delayed your travelling, eh. Pero all the same, ambilis ng panahon! ;)
