Lilies

After a year, I and my friends went back to Kinchakuda to see the spider lilies in bloom. The park is not that far from Tokyo and is very accessible so going there is never a problem. Last year though, the lilies were about wilt during the time of our visit and this time around we saw to it that they are in full bloom, almost.

In my previous blog post, I have mentioned that the lilies are more appealing in groups rather than individually. Common ones are red and white ones are rare. The latter was quite popular to the visitors.

Another group of enthusiast is also present during our group's photo walk. They were having their own photo session with their dolls. They had a complete set of gears - camera / reflector / doll spare parts etc. We were allowed to take some photos and thanked them afterwards. I wish I was able to ask the name of the group.

There are some areas of the park that I haven't been to last year. I just realized how huge the park was. I remember that my first post at Poets United is about Kinchakuda. How time flies. Allow me to say thank to all the poets I have met. Thank you for being the ink to my frozen ideas. You all inspired me to write.

While the spider lilies are the main attraction, I can’t help but take snaps of people at the park. It made me feel alive.

Sometimes I wanted to accompany my photos with poems but I always run out of words. And it’s frustrating. That is why I am scheduled for a 2-week vacation from Thursday. I need to recharge as I feel like a dying battery already. Sorry, if the post seems rushed.
