Earlier today, I watched another film by Hirozaku Kore-eda, Wandafuru Raifu (After Life). The film is about where you go after you die. In the movie, it's neither in heaven or hell, instead in a place called eternity where you can only bring your favorite memory. Amazing concept isn't it? And I liked how the movie deals away with overdramatic scenes, special effects and the likes. It's asking you to listen, lighten up and appreciate all the memories you already have and will be having.
The injection of humor in each scene is not forced. It's so natural that it will make you realize that one doesn't really have to take life seriously (literally). All we need in order to survive is a dose of humor every now and then. Loosen up. Lighten up.
Few years ago, I was called as the CLASS JOKER, quoting my classmates, I never run out of jokes even in serious situations. I can manage to make them laugh, smile even under pressure. Well, I don't need much effort in making them smile, after all, just by seeing me is enough to have them roll over the floor. After graduating a decade ago, I still want to believe that I still have that gift.
Simple things can even be a source of humor. From billboards to posters to cards to t-shirts and likes. And talking about shirts, I enjoy collecting them and shirts with humorous prints are very special like this one.
colorful and unfading
Be a source of joy to every one. It's a gift that money can't buy. Just continuing positivity on this blogsite, distilling away negative thoughts.
Most DEFINATELY a gift money can't buy. I'm one who happens to belive that a sense of humor is one of the ways we are made "in the image of God." Keep on laughing, and being that source of joy. ;)ReplyDelete
