A new year unfolds. Time to look back to the year that was, 2010.
The number of my blog entries continue to go down. I have 27 blog entries for 2010, that is 20 entries short to last year's. I guess I was just to busy or uninspired to write one.

Some of my popular entries for 2010.
I was able to visit to new countries not for leisure but for overseas assignments. During my spare time, I was able to go around and tried to take photos as souvenirs. Feel free to visit them again.
Taiwan
United States of America
I had a major trouble in claiming my prize money from a photo contest I joined in last October 2009. I won 2nd place but the process of getting that prize was hell.
Unmasked
Just days before Father's Day celebration, my brother broke the new their newly-born daughter didn't make it past 24 hrs.
Crib
This year I also tried to invest. Hoping this would make money. (From my Filipino blog)

Until now I am not sure if I am destined to be an engineer for life or a photographer. I'll find the answer soon.
As for my photography, I think 2010 was the most uninspired year for me. After I lost the photos I took from June to July 2010, everything went downhill. Thanks to flickr though for saving some of them. But I am kind of regretting of placing watermarks. Boo!
However, I was able to maximize my point and shoot camera (Ricoh GR III) and my fish-eye lens, my favorite lens. Based on flickr, here are my top eleven (it's 2011) photos.
1. Spiral
Taken in Kaohsiung, Taiwan (World Game Stadium). This is one of my favorite shots of the year. I love its minimalism feel.
2. Opening
Look closely, its not what you think. Taken in Funabashi, Chiba, Japan last spring. This was taken by my point and shoot camera. Its macro feature is what I normally use.
3. Core
Taken on the same day just like number 2. Taken with the same camera too.
4. Charm
I was invited by a friend to join him on this shoot. Taken in Yoyogi Park, Tokyo, Japan. I'll say it again, I am all about natural lighting.
5. Vertigo
I am afraid of heights you know. Taken in Minowa, Japan. One of the wonders of fish-eye lens.
6. Tokyo
Taken on the same day with number 5.
7. Yokohama
Well, I am not really into my fish-eye lens. Haha. Taken in Sakuragicho, Yokohama, Japan.
8. Exposed
Accidental shots can be a masterpiece too. Taken in Kawasaki, Yokohama, Japan
9. Mailbox
Decay has its beauty too. Taken in Oshiage, Chiba, Japan during one of the FTPS meet-ups.
10. Statue
It's not a personal fave and was surprised about how well it was received on flickr. Taken in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA
11. Moment
Another personal favorite and one of my entries to 2010 Bayanihan Photo Exhibit. Taken in Odaiba, Tokyo, Japan.
